چکیده
Connectivity, power consuming and fault tolerance are three critical issues in sensor networks. In this paper, sensor networks are modeled by the unit disc graph, random point process and Bernoulli nodes. A sensor network is composed of identical nodes randomly located on an unit area disc with uniform distribution. Each node is associated with probability ( ) to be active and with probability to be inactive. is the transmission radius. As goes to infinite and let , then the probability that each node neighbors at least one active node is , the Gumbel extreme-value function, for , and the cardinality of one connected component in the random graph is either or tending to infinite.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of a large number of sensor nodes which are capable of sensing different environmental phenomena and sending the collected data to the base station or Sink. Since sensor nodes are made of cheap components and are deployed in remote and uncontrolled environments, they are prone to failure; thus, maintaining a network with its proper functions even when und...

متن کاملA fault tolerance routing protocol considering defined reliability and energy consumption in wireless sensor networks
In wireless sensor networks, optimal consumptionof energy and having maximum life time are important factors. In this article attempt has been made to send the data packets with particular reliability from the beginning based on AODV protocol. In this way two new fields add to the routing packets and during routing and discovering of new routes, the lowest remained energy of nodes and route tra...
متن کاملRedundancy Analysis and a Distributed Self-Organization Protocol for Fault-Tolerant Wireless Sensor Networks
Sensor nodes in a distributed sensor network can fail due to a variety of reasons, e.g., harsh environmental conditions, sabotage, battery failure, and component wear-out. Since many wireless sensor networks are intended to operate in an unattended manner after deployment, failing nodes cannot be replaced or repaired during field operation. Therefore, by designing the network to be fault-tolera...

The fault tolerant and reliable dissemination is an important issue in WSN, due to the deployment of sensor nodes in hostile environment. Most of the clustering algorithms are concentrated to increases the network lifetime and reduces the energy consumption among the sensor nodes and do not consider the reliability of the networks. Fault tolerance techniques detect and recover the sensor nodes ...
